Aioli aioli aioli!
You order fries, you get aioli for dipping. Some menus have an assortment of different flavored aioli. Black Garlic Aioli, Maple Aioli, Maple Aioli, Chipotle Aioli, just to name a few. They don’t have ketchup, they have tomato sauce. So far the food here has been great. Strangely enough to me, mostly all of the places here either have German food on their menu OR have whole German restaurants. Patrick is in heaven to be able to order some of his native cuisine. I’m down to try anything but there are a lot of Thai and Japanese cuisine here on almost every corner. We are looking forward over the next few days to seek out Australia style cuisine. But it seems that so far we are finding that most of the foods here are similar to those in America. They just name them differently than we would so we have to ask them to describe what certain foods mean. Such as, game and cheese breakfast roll. That’s actually a ham and cheese sandwich served on a roll. Sandwiches are literally served on sliced bread. Fried egg is actually eggs over medium. Ham is a big thing out here. On almost every menu here, there is some sort of ham dish.
